Many photographers begin their about section with how they “have always appreciated nature since they were young”. My story is not this way. As a child I did not appreciate nature, I was very introverted and disinterested in the outdoors. I always was moved by art, but I couldn’t draw, paint or sing. I had a hard time expressing myself until I found photography. It wasn’t until I was about 20 years old that I begun to appreciate nature and desire to explore. As a late bloomer to this passion, it has grown exponentially in the past two years. Photography, nature and travel have become my primary interests. This late start to such important interests in my life has inspired me to peel back the curtain of the uninformed with the various arts I practice. I want to show the world why nature and photography are so special.
